Cookie Policy

There are two cookies you cannot avoid and a short list you can. Rejecting the optional ones takes exactly one click, in the same place and at the same size as accepting them.

01Strictly necessaryTwo cookies. One keeps you signed in, one remembers your cookie choice.

A session cookie that keeps you signed in while you use the application. Without it you would be signed out on every page. It expires when you sign out, or after 30 days.

A preference cookie that records the choice you made about optional cookies, so that you are not asked again on every visit. It lasts 6 months.

These two are set without consent because the service cannot function without them, which is what the law means by strictly necessary. They carry no advertising identifier and are not shared with anyone.

02Analytics — optional, off by defaultAggregate page and feature usage, so we can see what is broken.

If you accept optional cookies, we set analytics cookies that tell us which pages are visited, which features are used, and where people give up.

We use this only in aggregate. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not join it to your account content.

If you reject, none of these are set, and no analytics requests are made from your browser at all.

03Marketing measurement — optional, off by defaultOnly to tell whether an ad we paid for led to a sign-up.

If you accept optional cookies, we may set a measurement cookie that tells us whether a visit that arrived from an advertisement resulted in a sign-up.

We do not use cookies to follow you around other websites, and we do not sell or share cookie data for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If you reject, none of these are set.

04Third partiesWho else can set a cookie through this site, and when.

Our payment provider may set a cookie on the checkout step to detect fraud and to keep your payment session secure. This happens only when you actually go to pay, and it is necessary for the payment to work.

Video files on this site are served from our own domain, so watching one does not set a third-party cookie.

Analytics and measurement providers set cookies only if you have accepted optional cookies.

05Changing your mindReopen the cookie panel here, or clear everything in your browser.

Use the button at the bottom of this page to reopen the cookie panel and change your decision at any time. The change takes effect immediately.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the preference cookie you will be asked again on your next visit.

We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends GPC, we treat that as a rejection of all optional cookies and do not ask you again.

Rejecting optional cookies does not reduce what you can do here. Nothing is gated behind accepting them.
