Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use Yearcard to present business figures that you know, or ought reasonably to know, are false, invented, inflated or materially misleading.

You may not use anything produced here to mislead an investor, a lender, a buyer, an insurer, a landlord, a grant body or a public authority about the state of a business.

You may not present a Yearcard as audited, verified, certified, reviewed or independently checked. Nothing here is any of those things — we confirm only that the figure on the card matches the figure you typed.

You may not imply that this service, or the company that operates it, has assessed, endorsed or vouched for your results.

You may not fabricate a comparison — with a competitor, with an industry average, or with a benchmark — and present it as coming from this service. This service holds no such data and produces no such comparison.

You may not use the service in breach of any applicable law, or to plan, commit, facilitate or conceal any unlawful act.

You may not use it to launder money, to evade sanctions, or to disguise the source of funds.

You may not use it to infringe anyone's intellectual property, to breach a duty of confidence, or to publish material you have no right to publish.

You may not upload, generate, request or attempt to generate any material that sexualises a child, or any child sexual abuse material, in any form, real or generated.

You may not use the service in any way that endangers a child.

Any such attempt results in immediate closure of the account without notice and, where required or appropriate, a report to law enforcement and to the relevant reporting body.

This service does not generate portraits of real people and must not be used to attempt it.

You may not upload a photograph showing an identifiable person unless you have that person's permission for it to be used this way.

You may not use the service to impersonate a person, a business or an organisation, to pass yourself off as somebody else, or to produce material intended to be mistaken for a genuine record made by someone else.

You may not use the service to produce or distribute material that harasses, threatens, defames or incites violence against a person or a group.

You may not use it to attack people on the basis of a protected characteristic, including race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.

You may not use it to glorify violence, self-harm or terrorism, or to promote an eating disorder.

You may not use it to produce sexual material, and you may not use it to produce material intended to shock or disgust.

You may not use the service in connection with a scam, a phishing campaign, a fake shop or a fraudulent fundraising appeal.

You may not use it to produce anything resembling an official document, a certificate, an invoice, a bank statement, an identity document or a regulatory approval.

You may not use it to make claims about earnings, income or returns that are designed to induce someone to pay you money.

You may not use the service to give or appear to give financial, investment, legal, medical, tax or accounting advice.

You may not use it to promote a prescription-only medicine, a regulated financial product, gambling, tobacco, vaping products, weapons, or any controlled substance.

You may not use it to produce material for a political campaign, an election or a referendum in a way that misrepresents a candidate, a party or a result.

You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or copy the service, or to extract its prompts or models.

You may not attempt to bypass, reset or manipulate credit metering, plan limits or access controls.

You may not resell or sublicense access to the service, or share one account between people who are not part of the same business.

You may not overload the service, run automated traffic against it without our written agreement, or probe it for vulnerabilities other than through a responsible disclosure to us.

Depending on the seriousness, we may remove the material, warn you, suspend your account, or close it.

For child safety breaches, and for anything that puts a person at immediate risk, we close the account without notice.

Where we close an account for a breach of this policy, we are not required to refund the remaining part of a period, although we will consider it where the breach was inadvertent and put right.
